Welcome to the Demo Dutch Beginners 1 course. We would like to give you a short explanation about the organization of the online learning environment of the Language Academy. 

Dashboard

You are now on the dashboard. On the dashboard you can, among other things: 

• check your progress in the course 
• check your scores 
• view your course tasks 
• view your favorites 

My language courses

Course 
Under the heading ‘Course’ you can find your Demo Dutch Beginners 1 course. Your course contains an introduction and 10 lessons.   

Domains 
Under ‘Domains’ you can find the contents of each lesson in the Demo Dutch Beginners 1 course organized per domain: 

• Speech act 
• Vocabulary 
• Grammar 

Your profile

You can update your personal details and preferences under your profile which is at the top left next to your name. We advise you to set up your preferences first before you start the course. You will also find an overview of your orders under your profile.

Language of instruction

You can choose from a number of languages of instruction for this course. At the top right-hand corner of the learning environment you can see a flag. Click on the flag to select your preferred language of instruction.

Certificate

You will receive a certificate at the end of your course. What do you have to do to receive a certificate for your course? Let us explain:

• You must have completed at least nine of the ten lessons of this course.
• You must have completed lesson 10.
• You must have scored at least 70% for all the exercises.
